Your 4 other sets don't have correlating headgear like Elite Kurzick does. So yeah, you're kind of stuck with that. Try a different armor that doesn't come with a set scar pattern.

If your chest piece is dyed from before the dye update, then no your HoM armor will not be the actual color your armor is. And it doesn't matter what your Norn armor is actually dyed, it all changes to what you're wearing, but I'm guessing you dyed that Luzon armor you have there before the dye update.

Same as above, thats how the monument works. Pretty much any set from Factions, Nightfall and EotN that has a correlating headgear piece is going to display the ugly headgear piece. You're stuck with it. If you don't like it, there are many Prophecies sets that don't have headgear.

Mani.You might have to try 3 dye combo to get the hands and feet the way the chest and leggings are.Black.Gray Silver or Gray,White or Silver or White.

How did others get Straight black before the up date?

The Vabbian scar's kinda hard to see (I don't know why they made NF scars suck so damn bad after the dramatic beauty of the ones in Factions...), you may have missed it

Depended on the armor, but the good straight black was close to black,brown, and black.

Not worried about her arm bands and feet. Prolly salvage the FoW ones she got and keep her censor's feet and arm bands.

Thank you. That's a BINGO. I experimented with other armor I have because I couldn't remember when I dyed that armor... before or after the change:

old dye

new dye

Apparently it was before the change.

Your black seems to be treated like old style dye remover!

I made quite a study of dyes and remover before the dye change, Remover was merely a dye that mimicked the default dye color of whatever set it was used on...

Too bad the HoM doesn't accurately show dye colors like the old black. I wouldn't change the armor color just to make it show up on the monument though.

I do wish there was a dye color like old black though, the new black just drowns out armor details and makes certain armors look blobby. : (
